Verse 1
Leather seat** – Sun-faded and worn, holding stories of dust and dawn.
Silver buckle** – Clicking time on an empty two-lane, chasing a horizon line.
Radio hum** – A twangy tune about a heart on the run.

Chorus
Stetson crown** – Tipped low to hide the frown she painted in this town.
Chevy’s roar** – Engine screaming for a door she slammed the night before.
Her wild eyes** – Lightning in a bottle, mixing love with lies.

Verse 2
Gravel road** – Kicking up ghosts in the rearview, a heavy load.
Whisper thin** – A promise she broke, letting the Texas wind in.
Dashboard light** – Glowing like the neon of another fight.

Bridge
Broken fence** – A boundary crossed, no going back, no common sense.
Engine stall** – In the middle of nowhere, feeling ten feet tall and small.

Outro
Hat on the seat** – Empty space where she used to rest her head, bittersweet.
Truck in park** – Idling in the dark, a silent, lonesome spark.
