Saltwater Summer

Verse 1
Sun dips low on a rusty truck bed,
Cooler’s full, waves crash where the sky meets red.
You’re laughing in cutoff jeans, sand on your feet,
Friends spin vinyl, old tracks on repeat.

Pre-Chorus
Bonfire sparks mix with your perfume,
Every moment’s gold, no rush to leave soon.

Chorus
Oh, it’s a saltwater soul, a barefoot rhyme,
Your hand in mine, chasing the tide every time.
With the crew ‘round us, the world fades away,
Summer’s a song we play on replay.

Verse 2
Frisbee flies where the palm shadows dance,
Your tan lines trace a sweet happenstance.
Cold Coke pops, we toast to the breeze,
Guitar strums hum through the salty-tanged trees.

Pre-Chorus
Skyline melts into peach and blue,
Heartbeats sync to the ocean’s tattoo.

Chorus
Oh, it’s a saltwater soul, a barefoot rhyme,
Your hand in mine, chasing the tide every time.
With the crew ‘round us, the world fades away,
Summer’s a song we play on replay.

Bridge
Midnight whispers, stars write their lines,
Promise we’ll drift back to nights just like this…
Where the waves sing forever, and time’s just a twist.

Outro (Chorus)
Oh, it’s a saltwater soul, a barefoot rhyme,
Your hand in mine, where the sun won’t decline.
With the crew ‘round us, the world fades away,
Summer’s a song we play… on replay.
