In the Light of Us

Verse 1:
I walked a thousand shadows,
Chased echoes of “someday,”
Till your laugh cracked the silence—
My compass gone astray…

Chorus:
Oh, it’s not just a spark—it’s a flame we’ve lit!
Two souls in a storm, but we’re choosing to stand in it.
True love’s not a crown, it’s the dirt where trust begins,
And friendship’s the rhythm where the whole world spins!
Through the dark, we’re enough…
In the light… of us!

Verse 2:
You taught me “forever”
Is coffee at 3 AM,
A hand through every failure,
A dance in falling rain…

Bridge:
(Whispered, building intensity)
The scripts said “find your hero,”
But we rewrote the lines—
No saviors, just a city
Of broken hearts aligned!

Final Chorus:
Raise your voice, crash the stars,
Let the doubts come what may!
Side by side, we’re the fire,
We’re the shelter, we’re the way!
True love’s our rebellion,
Friendship—our symphony…
In the light… can’t you see?
We’re the light!*
