Heaven’s Highway

(Verse 1)
We’ll hitch our hopes to a rusty truck bed,
Sunset bleedin’ gold through your tangled hair.
With a Bible cracked and the Good Lord’s roadmap,
We’ll chase His light where the prairies flare.

(Chorus)
Oh, darlin’, it’s faith and dust we’re made of—
Two hearts baptized in a river of grace.
Through every valley, His love’s our cover,
On Heaven’s highway, we’ll find our place.

(Verse 2)
Your faith’s the compass when the night gets long,
Mine’s the steady hand when the storms roll in.
We’ll build our fires where the Psalms are sung,
And pray our shadows dance where the roads begin.

(Chorus)
Oh, darlin’, it’s faith and dust we’re made of—
Two hearts baptized in a river of grace.
Through every valley, His love’s our cover,
On Heaven’s highway, we’ll find our place.

(Bridge)
We’ll name our stars after Abraham’s promise,
Leave footprints where the Jordan runs wide.
With every step, Jesus walkin’ beside us,
This ol’ world’s just a porch to the other side.

(Chorus)
Oh, darlin’, it’s faith and dust we’re made of—
Two hearts baptized in a river of grace.
Through every valley, His love’s our cover,
On Heaven’s highway, we’ll find our place.

(Outro)
So take my hand, we’ll praise the miles ahead,
‘Til the gates swing wide on that glory morn—
Our great adventure ends where it all began,
At the foot of the cross, forever home.
