Grand Teton

Verse 1
Soft dawn breaks on the Sawtooth Range,
Elk graze slow through the sagebrush plains.
A golden eagle cuts the sky,
Where the Salmon River whispers lullabies.

Chorus
Oh, Idaho, your wild heart beats,
In every pine where moonlight sleeps.
From desert stars to glacial streams,
These wild lands guard our wildest dreams.

Verse 2
Moose wade deep in Teton snowmelt,
Wolves sing dusk in a twilight hymnbelt.
Brook trout dance where the rapids roar,
And the northern lights paint heaven’s door.

Chorus
Oh, Idaho, your wild heart beats,
In every pine where moonlight sleeps.
From desert stars to glacial streams,
These wild lands guard our wildest dreams.

Bridge
The aspens quake, the storms roll in,
A grizzly’s shadow fades again.
We’re just pilgrims passin’ through,
But these mountains leave their mark on you.

Chorus
Oh, Idaho, your wild heart beats,
In every pine where moonlight sleeps.
From desert stars to glacial streams,
These wild lands guard our wildest dreams.

Outro
So let the winds carry your name,
Idaho, stay untamed.
