Ghost Town Blues (Nevada City)

(Verse 1)
Out in the Sierra, where the tall pines sway,
Lies a town called Nevada, where the lost dreams lay.
Once it was a gold rush, laughter filled the streets,
Now it’s just a memory where the past still beats.

(Chorus)
Oh, Nevada City, where the shadows roam,
Echoes of the miners, callin’ me back home.
With every broken window, and every faded sign,
I feel the ghost of glory, still lingerin’ in time.

(Verse 2)
The saloons stand silent, the poker games are done,
But I swear I can hear them, under the setting sun.
Whispers in the wind, of love and of despair,
In this old ghost town, you can feel ’em everywhere.

(Chorus)
Oh, Nevada City, where the shadows roam,
Echoes of the miners, callin’ me back home.
With every broken window, and every faded sign,
I feel the ghost of glory, still lingerin’ in time.

(Bridge)
By the creek, I see him, with a pan in hand,
Chasin’ dreams of fortune, in this rugged land.
He’s searchin’ for the gold that slipped right through his hands,
But his spirit’s still a-fightin’, in this timeless band.

(Chorus)
Oh, Nevada City, where the shadows roam,
Echoes of the miners, callin’ me back home.
With every broken window, and every faded sign,
I feel the ghost of glory, still lingerin’ in time.

(Outro)
So if you find yourself here, let the stillness take hold,
In the heart of Nevada, where the stories unfold.
With a heart full of wonder, let your spirit be free,
In this ghost town of whispers, come and sing with me.
