A Whisper to the Wind

I miss your laughter, soft and true,
The way your presence brightened through.
Your kindness lingers, warm and near,
A gentle echo I still hear.

Your smile, a beacon in the night,
Filled every moment with pure light.
Now distance stretches, vast and wide,
Yet in my heart, you still reside.

I long for chats that never end,
For shared embraces, dearest friend.
Your wisdom, warmth, your thoughtful care,
Are treasures rare beyond compare.

The days feel longer, skies less bright,
Without your company, my plight.
I wish the miles would fade away,
To have you here, to share the day.

So, sister dear, though far apart,
You’re etched forever in my heart.
Until we meet, I’ll softly pray,
For you to be beside me someday.

With love that spans both time and space,
I send this poem, a warm embrace.
Know that I miss you, more than words can say,
And wish for you to be here today.
